Fast Track To Innovation Pilot

The European Commission has published, under the work-programme 2014-2015 of Horizon 2020, a new funding opportunity that promotes awareness of Innovation, helping to bring out the ideas and translating them into a socio-economic value.

Deadlines: 04.29.2015, 09.01.2015, 01.12.2015; co-financing rate: 70% for all legal entities, except for those non-profit organizations where instead it has 100%.

The call supports innovation projects from the experimental phase to the broad market, including the pilot, test-beds, systems validation in real conditions and work, validation of business models, etc …. The call targets relatively mature new technologies, concepts, processes and business models that need a last development step to reach the market and achieve a wider deployment. If the proposal is related to technological innovation, the consortium will declare that the technology or more technologies involved will have a level of “readiness” of type 6 (TRL). Projects may be interdisciplinary. Proposals can refer to any field by following the specific objectives of the themes “Leadership in enabling and industrial technologies” and / or “Societal challenges”.

Consortia should include partners from industry, universities, research institutions and other actors linked to innovation. Actors that can play a key role in the commercialisation process are encouraged to take part, such as cluster organisations, end-users, industrial associations, incubators, etc. . The consortium must consist of 3 to 5 maximum legal entities and satisfy at least two options.

The maximum demand of contribution to proposal of 3 Million Euros.
